I like to eat a lot of raw vegetables and protein which makes salad a great choice. At the moment this spinach salad with chicken, avocado and berries is one of my favorites cialis pris. I always opt for deep, green leaves as they provide mega nutrients and tons of fiber. The berries are a great source of anti-oxidants and the chicken provides lean protein. I like to have little “extras” in my salad and this one contains nuts, cheese and onions.
INGREDIENTS
4 cups baby spinach
5 or 6 ounces grilled chicken
4 sliced strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 sliced avocado
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/8 cup sliced almonds
1 ounce crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup poppy seed dressing (recipe below)
PREPARATION
Arrange spinach on a plate.
Place chicken, avocado slices and berries on spinach
Sprinkle almonds, cheese and onions on top
Drizzle salad with dressing
POPPY SEED DRESSING
1/4 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Salt to taste (I don’t add salt)
Put all ingredients in a jar, cover and shake to combine.
