I was trying to come up with a clever title for this post but I realized that nobody cares about the name of the workout, they only care about the results. This workout may look simple, but I guarantee if you run through the routine 3 or 4 times and do it 2 or 3 days a week, you will definitely see results in your lower half. When you’re over 50 it seems like the bottom part of your body could almost touch the floor and we need to change that!
I do love to workout in a gym, but luckily legs can very effectively be trained with no equipment, so you can easily do this workout at home. The most important thing to remember when you’re following this routine is you really want to hold everything in tight. Make sure to concentrate on contracting both your legs and tush, as well as holding your belly in throughout the entire movement. Remember that working your legs burns a lot of calories so the added bonus to getting firm is burning fat. Who doesn’t want that?!
Make sure to add some good cardio into the mix. I love the elliptical but just walking is great too. With a little effort there’s no reason not to be fit over fifty!
