I always want a low calorie dessert because regardless of how full I am after dinner I need something sweet to finish my meal. I love ice cream but it’s far too fattening for me to indulge in nightly so I have come up with a treat I call “Sundae in a Cup.”

Basically, this is a sundae with no ice cream. Shake a can of whipped cream and put a big squirt into a small paper cup. Drop in a few maraschino cherries, a tablespoon of nuts, and finish with a drizzle of your favorite topping like honey, maple or chocolate syrup. That’s it. I guarantee you won’t miss the ice cream. Enjoy!
