I get hungry a lot even though I do eat throughout the day. Sometimes I just need a “little something” to satisfy that gnawing I feel in my tummy. Being as busy as I am, I need a treat that will satisfy that sweet and salty and creamy and crunchy taste that I crave. So instead of having some chips and cookies and ice cream, I’ve come up with a solution that I call “Spoon Situation”, because if I don’t immediately shove something in my mouth I’m going to have a real bad situation by eating everything in sight.

This recipe was in my first “Feed Me” post but I wanted to repost it along with the video. Using a plastic spoon (I like them because they are small and yes, you can wash and reuse over and over) take a hefty spoonful of peanut butter (I like crunchy) and top it with a squirt of canned whipped cream. Find a peanut butter with no added ingredients except for maybe a small pinch of salt. There are tons out there so experiment to find the one you like and always have it on hand. And of course any nut butter can be used. Have a cup of hot coffee or tea with it. Yummy! (If you are allergic to nuts, sunflower seed butter works great too!)
